Updated Library Policies

Welina me ke aloha. As we begin the next phase of reopening our campus, the librarians and staff of the Sullivan Family Library are working to respond to needs to ensure that the library continues to be a safe place to visit and work.

Below are some new policies to be aware of when you visit us:

Sanitation Stations
Throughout the library you will see Sanitation Stations which include hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. Please use these supplies to clean your study space and sanitize your hands. Please limit the use of disinfectant wipes to one wipe per person to reduce a strain on supplies.

Physical Distance Markers
To maintain a six-foot distance between individuals, you will see markers like this throughout the library where we are requesting you maintain your distance.

Circulation Desk Policies
To protect our staff, we are asking that you place your items (either checking out or returning) in the box near the entrance to the circulation desk area and maintain a physical distance by staying behind the markers on the floor.

Please continue:

  • Masks are still required to enter the Chaminade University campus as well as the Sullivan Family Library. Please keep your mask on at all times.
  • Please stay home if you are sick or if someone in your household is sick.
  • Please continue to wash your hands and avoid touching your face.

Thank you for your continued support during these rapidly changing times and complying with our requests to ensure safety for all.
