EBSCO problems - October 18, 2017

There have been intermittent problems with EBSCOhost today, resulting in users getting messages like 'We are unable to validate your login credentials.' EBSCO reports that it is aware of this and their engineers are working on resolving the issue(s):

Update: 3pm ET: Issue has been isolated to EBSCO Admin and EBSCOhost Collection Manager. More updates forthcoming

Support has received multiple reports of users experiencing difficulty logging into EBSCO. Our engineers are looking into this issue and we will provide additional updates shortly" -- EBSCO Help

Psychology Videos

Effective 6/19/2017, Alexander Street is no longer carrying any Psychotherapy.net titles.  Therefore, Sullivan Family Library elected to subscribe to Psychotherapy.net in order to obtain access to its videos. (Search under database title "Psychotherapy.net")  Please be aware that Psychotherapy.net has updated its current collection and may have also permanently removed some of its videos that were previously shown on Alexander Street.

Effective 7/1/2017, the Counseling and Therapy in Video (Classic (formerly I and II), III, IV, and V) is offered via Alexander Street (search under database title "Counseling and Therapy in Video").

Effective January 25, 2017, ebrary Academic Complete will upgrade to ProQuest Ebook Central. The upgrade is scheduled for 9 am and there may be a few hours of downtime.
